ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Aleksandr Gritsevski finished his Master’s Degree at the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University in 1993.
He started to work as Automation Manager at 2000. For more than 5 years he was dealing with mobile technologies at the time they were emerging as new opportunities for the global IT market. Later, he acquired more skills in QA by working as a Team Leader and being responsible for test strategies and automation frameworks. After 6 years, he challenged himself by being both Team Leader and Scrum Master at one of the leading companies in Gaming industry. After that, he became Lead Quality Manager at one of the biggest logistics company in the world Küehne+Nagel. His wide range of experiences include framework development, specification creation and project management. Java, Selenium and GWT are technologies his is most fond of.
Being one of the leading specialists in his country, he became member of the board of DevClub. He has been a speaker at a number of international conferences in Europe. Nowadays, he is coordinating a team of more than two hundred of IT specialists in one the biggest Scandinavian bank.

A Quality Gate is a special milestone in a software project. Quality Gates are located before a phase that is strongly dependent on the outcome of a previous phase.
For the project to perform, it vital to use Quality Gates during development. The Speaker will tell how to implement Quality Gates, when it is particularly necessary to improve the quality and speed-up the process of development. The attention will also be put on how to avoid using Quality Gates inappropriately, so that the development does not get stuck and stays on budget. Overall, the idea is to find feasible solution for Quality Gates implementation.
